Like in the LCD TV repair course, there are also two ways you can learn how to repair plasma TV: The offline and online method. The offline method involves real classrooms and instructors with real books and assignments while the online method only involves an internet-plugged computer and some determination to do it all by yourself. The second method should not be as tough as some would think. That’s because there are resources out there in the world wide web that were created with the DIY disciples in mind.
Introducing the Plasma TV Repair Guide by Kent Liew. Like the LCD TV repair course, this self-training program will cost you some money (also USD 29.95). But, again, I believe that the value of the stuff you will learn from this membership site, and the skills that you will develop, is way more than that. Here are the reasons why:
- If you have tried searching online about information on plasma television repair, i’m pretty certain that you will very quickly realize how difficult it is. I am also certain that you will find numerous TV repair forums and Q&A sites that provide so-called “expert help” for any of your TV problems. However, most of these forums and sites will only give you bits and pieces of information. Indeed they are free but the question you need to ask is if you have the time to put together these pieces of information and if you will be sure as to the whether the advice you get are indeed correct. There are of course better alternatives like the forums and Q&A sites that offer the same help but they charge a sum of money for the information they provide. I’ve found at least one Q&A site that charges per question asked! With Kent Liew’s plasma repair site, however, you will be able to get most, if not all, of the information you need in a single place. No need to put any puzzle pieces together and no need to pay per question asked!
- To repair plasma TV, you will likely need the the corresponding TV repair and service manuals. There are websites where you can download these manuals from but the problem is, they will charge you per download! The $29.95 that Kent Liew is asking for his self-training membership site will probably get you only a couple or so manuals from those manual stores. But when you get access to Kent Liew’s membership site, you will also get access to hundreds of downloadable manuals and information that includes step-by-step instructional e-books and “visual troubleshooting guides”. He promises to keep adding on to his collection which you will be able access at no additional cost.
- The plasma TV repair site was made for both beginners and experts alike. If you are a newbie TV repair person and have no previous background in electronics, you can learn through Kent’s help and through the material found on his site! If you are already into TV repair looking to supplement your skills, this site will also be of use to you! The author of this site is a practicing electronics repair guru so you can be confident that the information he will provide you will be of valuable use to you.
To learn more (as there certainly are more) about what other value you can get from Kent Liew’s repair course, I suggest you head on over to the site. Thank you for reading!
